Bonjour! Spring has finally arrived in Switzerland and we are all so happy to see the sunshine. It has been a crazy few weeks and therefore, I have not had a chance to update my blog. I have tons to catch up on!
Since my last post, my mom came to visit for 3 weeks and we had a chance to take some fun weekend excursions to Bellazona Switzerland and then onto Lake Como Italy. The entire trip was about a 5-6 hour drive thru the southern region of the country. This region is called Ticino and although you are still in Switzerland, for all practical purposes you are amoungst Italians. Our first stop was in Bellinzona. Bellinzona is an amazing little village dominated by three gray-stone, fairy tail medieval castles. The boys absolutely loved being able to explore the grounds and climb around the castle walls. We fortunately got some great pictures of this adventure!
